Bye Bye Guys

As promised this is for all of you who made my stay at Evalueserve very special.

Paras Kumar fondly called as ‘Papa’ has been always been there for me to support both on the professional and personal front. He was the one who mentored me and taught me the tricks of the trade often stretching for whole night while making us leave on time. There were times when I messed up but he never lost his composure always told me to remain calm in tense situation (Trying to do so). There has been so much to learn from him. Thanks for all the support and believe you have shown in me, hope I have not let you down.

Tara Prasad the first friend I made in Evalueserve and probably the best. Life at office would have been much different without him. First I would have not gained so much weight. He is the main culprit behind it. A lovable guy and a genius “Gold Medallist” to be exact. He is the emotional type and family guy. Have worked with him on many projects and enjoyed them a lot. My first training brief was taken by him. He is a person who knows almost about everything and has interest in almost everything don’t have any idea how he manages to do that. The dedication with he worked was a source of inspiration for us and everybody in our team wants to be like him. Hope that we remain friends for ever will need your support and advice.

Ankur Yadav the dude of our team with his own way of thinking on almost everything. He always thinks about things differently, away from the way normal people do and has logic to convince you on his thought. He also posses great sense of humour and things can never be dull if you have him around. The way he balanced his professional and personal life was simply amazing at least I couldn’t have be so much energetic and positive in those situations. Was great to have him around and had lots of fun in those KFC parties we had. Hope that within these two years some of your zeal and optimism has been transferred to me. Wish you luck at IIM(get in a good company and may be get me in J).

Uma Maheswar Vattikuti like his name is he also was different from the lot. A simple and easy going guy but really lazy. We always counted on him during our buffet lunches so that the money was not wasted. He has amazing levels of patience and takes things really easy never saw him in hurry or tensed. We all doubt he has a Girl Friend but never tells us anything about it. Dude we will get to know it one day. I have been begging him to give me quant lessons but he never would. I am going to bug you until you start teaching me anyway we are meeting every weekend and seriously when are you going to buy that car.

First Year at KIT

Finally I have made my self write about my college life again.

The reason I stopped is somewhat foolish but yes I missed those days and people so much that I almost got upset but as life moves on you move on too.
So here I was stuck in an Engineering college with a lot of new people whom I didnt know at all that time.

The first year in college was basically two things Ragging and thinking and devising ways to escape from it and as it was the first year we all were serious about studies (yes I know you guys are laughing) so we tried to devote some time to main reason for which we were there.

The first fun moment in first year that I still remember was our freshers party.

The tradition in KIT was that one week before freshers party was the toughest and same was the case with us but finally freshers came around and we danced our way to freedom from formals and wishing every senior good evening and good morning and became more friendly with each other as they called it in my college entered the family.

Then came the famous HARI OM after a night of flying high those who have done it know what I mean :).
The First year in college was a begining to many first ,
First time I felt really confident .
First time I felt I can be among the top students in academics.
First taste of stardom in college football team.
First time I got serious about a girl.
First time I saw a real fight.
and many others.
When I look back now it seems each and everyone of those firsts gave me an experience worth cherishing for life.
Cheers to the begining of college life.

Life is a journey :)

This post is dedicated to two of the most improtant people in my life Abhinav and Eshita.
My life in NCR is divided in two phased one while in Keane and one after that and if I am still sane then the only reason is these two wonderful friends. Thanks to them one more beautiful chapter has been added to my life which is right up there among the best moments of my life .
My life has been quite a journey with some memorable trips first there were Agra and Gwalior back in school. Then there were 2 awesome trips to Goa with college friends. Himachal with some old school friends and then Haridwar,Rishikesh and Mussorie.
To start with I never wanted to go on this trip has it not been Abhinav's last few days in Noida and insistence I would have missed some really valuable memories, People I met and friends I made.
Me being more on the introvert side was a bit apprehensive when I got to know that there people whom I have have met once or twice and others who were complete strangers.
To start with there were 8 of us who were going on the trip with plan to leave on saturday night camp at Rishikesh and return by Monday evening.
We started late on saturday night and as we had to pick Ankesh on our way there was not much scope for sleep and we started chatting. There are some people who spread so much warmth around that its not long before you start feeling comfortable with them. Luckily everyone in the trip more or less belonged to the same category. Specially Kushal and Sandy both of them with their exceptional sense of humour had us in fits of laughter every now and then had it not for them there would have been much less jokes and Laughter.
We picked Ankesh at around three in the morning recharged ourselves with some tea and snacks at his home and left for Haridwar. We reached Haridwar in the morning not letting lack of sleep dampen our spirits and we started for Har ki Pauri for a dip in the holy Ganges luckily for us it was the occasion of Mahakumbh that comes once in 12 years. Though there was a lot of rush, but it was totally worth. Firstly the cold water woke us up from the little bit slumber that remained after the long walk. After taking the dip and having something to eat (After lots and lots of struggle :)) and left for our further journey to Rishikesh for camping, trecking and rafting.
We reached our camping sight around 4 in the evening having some food we left for trekking to a nearby waterfall. Our guide told us that that the trek was just 1.5 Km. I wonder on what scale do people in hills measure distance I can bet my life that it was more than 1.5 Kms.
Agreed that the dull and sedatary life style has made me unfit but still it seemed to take like eternity to reach the waterfall but the view was mesmerising and made us forget the effort it took to reach there and a nice bath in the picturesque view made us fresh and lively again a some photographs and we walked back to the camp. Back at the camp we played some games, sat around bonfire, on the banks of the river and among warnings for punishment to anyone who slept everyone went to sleep.
Morning we left for the biggest draw of the trip, the conquest with the white water (Rafting), finally we were in the river fighting with waves living my dream. The open river gave a sense of freedom and power that i never felt before and it felt so good. Someone among us was thrown overboard to expell the fear of water.
Finally after working our way through some rapids, some body surfing we reached back on the shore and started planning for our return and unexpected turn of events made us divert our route and make us extend our trip by one day and we left for the queen of hills "Mussorie" reached there at night moved to our hotel took some rest and we had one big session fooling around and jokes, and were forced to take a walk at 3:30 in the morning may be it was beer may be something else but once we went out the view was mesmerising the lights of dehradun presented a view that cannot be expressed in words. After coming back everyone went to sleep got up in the morning and moved around in mussorie and later started our journey back.

On our way back someone suggested to visit a place called as robber's cave we went there and found out an amazing place hidden out of sight, we had to wade through waters, crawl through caves to reach a hidden water fall but had to leave soon as it was getting dark and the danger of nocturnal animals coming to say hi to us was increasing.
Finally we started back on our way and reached our respective places the next morning bringing end to a trip that will be remebered for my whole life because these were 3 most enjoyable days of my life.

The trip has ended but not the memories, the way people can make each other happy and special Abhi and Eshita you people are really lucky and feel so happy for you, the ease with which you can make friends, sometimes I wonder the way Kushal and Sandy kept their cool even when there were so many jokes going around and infact joined us and laughed at themselves at times I felt that the things were just too much specially in mussorie but u guys never let anything to spoil the mood.Abhishek for selflessly giving in to the trip heck he didnt even know not even asked what we were upto, but just jumped in without any hesitation thats what you call fun loving attitude, Ankesh though remained silent for most part but there were some really witty comments here and there, the little discussion that we had while returning gave a hint of the thinking and analytical brain he poccesses, Last but not the least Megha for being such a sport, saying yes to a trip with people she hardly new. Kudos to u guys for making this trip a wonderful experience.

As it with always nothing is perfect, same was with this trip but the fun and masti overshadows any of such things. With hopes of meeting again for another memorable trip.
Au revoir.
